Omarchy Gmail widget – privacy policy
The "Omarchy Gmail widget" is a personal desktop widget written by Andy Dunn for his own laptop. It is not a public product and is not offered to anyone else.
What it accesses
With the account owner's permission, it reads Gmail messages and labels so it can show an unread count and inbox list, and it can mark messages read or unread, star, archive or move them to Trash. It can also read and add/edit Google Calendar events for a desktop calendar. It cannot send email or permanently delete anything.
Where the data goes
Nowhere. Everything runs on the owner's own computer, talking directly to Google's APIs. No mail or calendar data is sent to, stored on, or shared with any server, person or third party. Sign-in tokens are kept encrypted on that computer.
Google API data
Use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
Access can be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
